During the winter months the town of Jarnac in the Charente becoems the region's truffle capital with a regular marketon at the Hôtel Renard 12, Quai de l'Orangerie (Près du Musée Mitterand). the market is held every Tuesday (at 9.30am) and Friday (from 5pm) until February 26, 2010, execpt public holidays.
