ARCHAEOLOGY AFTERNOONS

Details: Every Saturday afternoon visit three of the Charente's main archaeology sites free of charge. Children can dress up in clothes of the period and will receive a souvenir coin at the end of their visit. The sites that are open are the archaeological park at Chasseon (www.cassinomagnus.fr); the underground church of St Jean in Aubeterre sur Dronne (www.aubeterresurdronne.com) and the Abbey at St-Amant-de-Boixe (www.abaye.saintamantdeboixe.fr) Audioguides are available in English.
